Join Zealots Field

Zealots Field has grown in a few short years from a single fantasy football league to 48 fantasy football leagues that are organized into four syndicates. Additionally, we anticipate opening a fifth syndicate for the 2007 that will include 12 additional fantasy football leagues. This growth has occurred because of the steady influx of fantasy football fans who are searching for a deep set of rules, year-round activity, first-class competition, and like-minded owners who are committed to the Zealots Code of Conduct. We are always interested in hearing from prospective members who think that Zealots Field may be a good fit for them.

Of course, we recognize that Zealots Field isn’t for everyone – some people may want a more wide-open environment where “anything goes” in what they can post on message boards; some may chose to avoid free Internet leagues thinking there’s less challenge when no money is wagered; and some may just not have enough desire or free-time to maintain the activity level that we feel is so vital to an enjoyable league. But that’s OK. We aren’t trying to be everything to everybody – we just enjoy the Zealots Field experience and we continue to attract others who feel the same.

If you think that Zealots Field may be a good fit for you, let us know. There are occasionally times when we may need replacement owners willing to take on a established team, and we also continue to add new syndicates – we are expecting to open up our Hutson Syndicate in 2008. So we encourage any interested fantasy football fan to take the time to review our Rules and to read through our Code of Conduct. After you have read these over and agree to them, feel free to submit an application – you can get a blank one here:

Then once your application is complete, please submit as an e-mail message attachment to applications@zealotsfield.com.

After receiving your application, our membership Czar Rob Militzer or another representative from Zealots Field leadership will contact you to learn more about you. Your application will tell us a lot about you – and simply having the willingness to fill it out shows us a certain level of commitment. After that, the follow-up exchanges with Czar Rob Militzer and/or others in Zealots Field leadership will serve to further make sure that both Zealots and you think this is a good fit. There’s no major initiation process, you don’t need ten signed statements from friends vouching for you, and there’s no written test of your fantasy football knowledge. Just an honest interest from you, a sincere desire to uphold the Zealots Code of Conduct, and some fair questions from us about your willingness to follow through on your commitments.

After we’re both in agreement that Zealots is a place for you, you’ll be notified of any current openings. If there aren’t any, then you may be placed on our waiting list – either for the next available replacement owner’s slot, or for our next syndicate expansion.
